Blindness is lack or loss of sight.

flash b. Temporary loss of vision caused by exposure to intense light.
legal b. Loss of vision to a degree as defined by legal statute to constitute blindness;
maximal correction of acuity of 20/200 or less in the better eye, and diameter of visual field of 20° or less.
night b. See nyctalopia.
snow b. Temporary blindness caused by excessive exposure to sunlight reflected from snow.
