What is cyanose tardive?

Cyanose tardive is term applied to the potentially cyanotic group of congenital heart diseases with an abnormal communication between systemic and pulmonary circulation;
cyanosis is absent while the shunt is from left to right, but if the shunt reverses, as after exercise or late in the course of the disease, cyanosis appears.
