What is dysphagia?

Dysphagia is difficulty in swallowing.
d. lusoria Dysphagia due to compression of the esophagus by a congenital abnormality of a blood vessel, usually the right subclavian artery when it abnormally comes off the thoracic aorta.
sideropenic d. See Plummer-Vinson syndrome.
